I looked forward to Monday’s. I haven’t missed a class since I started, and it’s not because I’ll lose a grade or anything like that, it’s just because I’m really excited about coming here and being with my team members. The resources here – everyone has been so supportive. If you need tutoring, if you need financial assistance, it’s just been very, very convenient, very supportive, and it fits into my world. Obviously, I work, I have a family, and I have other activities outside of being a full-time student, so it makes it very easy to be a student at this stage in my life.
I think with the cohort and team concept… that really works for me, and I think it’ll work for anyone who is thinking about going back to school, but also has a life outside of school and can’t attend full time.
I would tell people not to be afraid to make that step to go back to school if it’s on their mind. If they’re thinking financially or they’re thinking time, that they can get the help here financially, it can work into their schedule, and to give it a try.
