Earning my MFA at Albertus has meant a lot for my confidence as a writer and I feel like I have a much greater understanding of the craft of writing.  What I have learned has brought refinement to my writing in my day-to-day life at work and at home. The program at Albertus Magnus College was such a supportive environment to be in. My time at Albertus was the highpoint of my education! It was great how flexible the program was and that it could work with my busy schedule. I don’t have the ability to take weeks or a month away during the year for in-person sessions that other low-residency programs require. Albertus made me feel like my dream of writing was really attainable.

I am lucky enough to have a very supportive family and I set aside 3 hours a day, three days a week, for my writing. I hope to submit some of my works for publication in the near future!
