Daniel Wostbrock graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry with an education certificate in 2008. Now a chemistry teacher at Sheehan High School, Wostbrock was honored as Wallingford’s 2020 Teacher of the Year.
“I’m very happy with this great honor,” he told Record-Journal, a Meriden based newspaper. “I think that anytime someone is recognized it’s because of the great collaborative nature of where they were … this is not me accomplishing this on an island — I could not have accomplished this without my team.” Wostbrock is also the head coach for the Sheehan High School lacrosse and swim teams.
