Study Abroad in London: Paige in Paris

Paige Williams ’20 is an Albertus senior who is currently enrolled in Richmond University, as a part of a study abroad program with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) Read Paige’s second blog update on her travels to Paris.

“I have met so many students from around the United States, as well as international students.”

I just finished traveling from Paris with AIFS. It was a wonderful trip as I not only had a chance to visit the Eiffel Tower, but after standing in line for an hour and a half, I got a glimpse of the Mona Lisa and The Palace of Versailles. Our tour guide taught us a lot about the historical significance of Paris and French history.

After taking French for three years and learning about its history, it was an eye opening experience visiting each place and it made a great impact on my understanding of Parisian culture.

I have also begun my adventure in the business realm with my internship at Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Today (KCW Today). I have learned how to create, write and revise professional article assignments. With my internship I hope to improve my writing skills and learn more about the journalism profession. As journalism is a fast paced profession, I am learning how to catch up with it through not only my writing, but in my travels!
