Just prior to this event, Albertus Magnus College was named a 2019-2020 Military Friendly School by the Military Friendly® Schools survey. The survey is the longest-running and most comprehensive review of college and university investments in serving military and veteran students. This designation is the result of extensive research in which the College met or exceeding benchmarks and access to federal programs for veterans.

Albertus was also awarded the Gold Distinction as an employer that is setting the example with its programs and initiatives. The College exceeded the standards for every single one of the categories of the survey, including academic policies and compliance, by over 92 percent. “Albertus has been diligently working on specific veterans programs in an effort to improve the overall experience and embrace our veterans and their service to our country,” said Albertus Registrar Compliance Specialist, Sarah Jordan. “Some of these programs include resources specifically for veterans on campus, such as the Student Veterans Association, tuition assistance, and rehabilitation services.”
