Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut – Albertus Tree of Hope

Thanks to the help of various departments and campus community members, the Financial Aid Office is participating in the Christmas fundraiser, “Trees of Hope,” in support of the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. The outpouring of donations has resulted in a fully decorated Albertus Magnus College tree that embodies the theme: “College: Where Success Begins.” The Albertus Magnus College tree along with other donated trees will be raffled off as a part of the “Trees of Hope” event, which will be held December 2nd through December 10th  , held at the Long Wharf Maritime Center in New Haven.

This family-friendly event is FREE to attend, open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, and offers free parking on the weekends. It features over 145 holiday displays and gifts, generously donated by individuals, organizations, and groups in the New Haven community. All times will be raffled off on the last day of the event. Raffle tickets are $1/each and can be purchased throughout the event. All proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. In addition to the holiday displays, there is a Holiday Boutique open daily, live musical performances, and visits from Santa on the weekends. Come see the Albertus Magnus College tree and join the Albertus community in supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut this Christmas season. Students who take a picture in front of the Albertus Magnus College tree and post it on their social media pages with #Albertustreesofhope and #treesofhope2017 will get a free t-shirt!
