Blaine Boxwell III ’18 earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College in 2018. He currently works in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources at ESPN, after being hired from a contracted employee to full-time.
Blaine worked all day and needed an educational program that fit around his hectic schedule. His father attended Albertus and highly recommended the program to him. Since all students and instructors were working professionals, the Business Management program showed Blaine different perspectives and experiences in the workforce.
“It allowed us [the students] the space to discuss in broad terms different problems or scenarios at work”, Blaine recalls “…and the classes let us brain-storm on best practices and other methods to resolve issues, both big and small.”
Blaine continues to keep in contact with some of his instructors and considers them to be his mentors and role models. “There is a mutual respect between students and instructors that fosters confidence and productivity.”
