Albertus Magnus College students from the Urban Studies, Art History, and Philosophy programs met with Andrew Benner from the Yale School of Architecture to discuss modern art and architecture in downtown New Haven, Connecticut. This was a great opportunity to see the City of New Haven from a fresh perspective and to learn more about the significance of urban planning and the city’s architectural history.
As a student at Albertus, your academic experience will have a strong focus on “Experiential learning”. This is learning through the experience of “doing.” Through hands-on application and problem solving, inside and outside the classroom, this will greatly help you in your professional and personal development. Experiential learning opportunities include internships, community engagements or service-learning and is one of the many strengths of a liberal arts education at Albertus.
