How to Make the Most of Your Free Time this Summer

We know that the summer is an eagerly anticipated time throughout the academic year. It’s a milestone; a checkpoint that allows you to reflect on your learned skills and most importantly (for many undergraduates), a well-needed break from your academic studies. However, for those who are already employed, it is the perfect time to sign up for summer evening courses to get ahead.

Graduate Mindset

For working-professionals, being a student is a very different experience from that of traditional undergraduates. For starters, free time is pretty much non-existent, as you are juggling the many tasks that life throws at you. With this tough schedule in mind, we love summer courses because they can help you achieve your degree quickly and efficiently. With the combination of six and eight week courses, you can earn up to three credits by completing a summer course.

Flexibility is Key

One thing that we can’t stress enough for working adults is the importance of having a flexible academic schedule that is molded around your lifestyle. This ethos is very important to us here at Albertus. The success of our programs are reflective of our students’ success – we want you to succeed with honors. This is why we give adult students the option of blended course options, which vary from on-campus attendance once-a-week to a complete online course that allows you to work remotely from your home. The flexible schedule lets you maintain your summer free time by allowing you to still take vacations, visit relatives and entertain friends – all while earning your degree.

The summer courses at Albertus truly embrace a new style of learning – with competitive prices, flexible studies and lots of options for taking valuable classes.  Summer really is the time to get ahead.  So, the question is, how will you be making the most of your free time this summer?
