“Throughout my time at Albertus, I got involved in many different activities and made the most of the opportunities that were presented to me, especially internships. Being very involved on campus and exposing myself to many different experiences has really helped me. After I get my Ph.D., I plan to go into a career in pharmaceutical research. My favorite memory of Albertus is of sledding and playing in the snow on campus.”

Caroline Kobierowski ’18: Wallingford, Connecticut, Sacred Heart Academy
“I have always been drawn to biology and finding out how exactly the human body functions. I was inspired to choose teaching as a career because I just love to help students learn in any way I can. Even on a personal level, I would love to be there for them for anything they need. The Albertus experience has been nothing but positive; it has shaped me into who I have become since beginning college.”

Shamain McAllister ’18: Irvington, New Jersey, St. Vincent Academy
“I majored in health care management major with a minor in criminal justice. I have been accepted to a new graduate program here at Albertus: the Master of Public Administration. Eventually, I plan to go to law school. I am happiest about seeing changes take place because of student advocacy.”
A founding member of the Albertus Student Justice League; Resident Assistant for two years; Student Government Association vice president for student advocacy; received the national I-LEAD Scholarship in 2017 at the Association of College Unions International Annual Conference for her leadership role in student activities.

Albertus Magnus College, founded by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, has an enrollment of 1,500 students in its traditional undergraduate program, accelerated adult degree programs, and 11 graduate programs, including the only Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling in Connecticut. Albertus fields 14 NCAA Division III varsity teams and competes in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
