According to the American Art Therapy Association’s (AATA) Annual Report for 2020, the second most read online article for the year was published by Rebecca Arnold, an Associate Professor in the Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling (MAATC) program at Albertus Magnus College. This national recognition is a tremendous honor, with the AATA hosting thousands of monthly subscribers. In 2020, it was cited that the Journal for the American Art Therapy Association had over one hundred thousand articles downloaded.
Professor Arnold’s article was published in October of 2019, entitled “Navigating Loss through Creativity: Influences of Bereavement on Creativity and Professional Practice in Art Therapy”. Rebecca Arnold, M.A., ATR-BC holds a primary research focus in creativity and visual art making during grief and loss. Her other areas of research include creative development and addiction.
