Mohun Musings #3
As we return to campus after Spring Break, it is easy to feel that there is a mountain to climb between now and the end of the term. But fear not Falcons! Today, Mother Stephanie shares some words of encouragement for us to keep going!
“You are young and I shall presume to give you this advice – as I told you in my telegram ‘great works are accomplished only by overcoming great difficulties’ – so have courage and absolute confidence in God’s Providence – and then whether success or apparent failure attend the undertakings of this fleeting life, your heart will be at peace and that after all is the highest success as it is the ultimate end of our existence.”
– Mother Stephanie Mohun, OP, to Dr. Nicholas Moseley, Provost of Albertus Magnus College, June 1, 1926.
Keep going Falcons! You’ve got this!
Stay tuned for more words of wisdom from Mother Stephanie.
