Tim Quinn ‘88 was delighted to be a part of the 2021 Presidential Inauguration as makeup artist for First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
He first met “Dr. B” over 12 years ago when she became Second Lady through Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver’s, The Women’s Conference.
“I was thrilled to be a part of the event. One of the core values I learned at Albertus is to surround yourself with incredible people. It felt great to reconnect with a group of people I haven’t seen in awhile, who value loyalty in long term friendships and relationships”, said Quinn.
Arriving in the city, Tim was saddened to see the state it was in with everything boarded up and on lockdown. However, after he got through the day and back to the White House, he felt a different palpable energy through the city. He praised the work of the Inauguration Committee in pivoting their programming to make people at home feel a part of something “so special and magical”.

Tim also reflected on how great it felt to be back in Washington, DC, a place that feels so comfortable to him. He compared this feeling to the one he gets visiting the Albertus campus.
“It feels like I’ve never left”
