SALT, is a college website that helps students plan their finances and figure out the best method when taking out loans. “ SALT makes it simple to take control of your finances, helping college students and alums live well today while planning for tomorrow” (SALT). There are many other beneficial tools that SALT provides. For example, if students do not have a résumé yet, SALT can guide them to create a strong one. If students are looking for an internship or a job, they can use SALT to help find what they are looking for. Scholarships are helpful as well because it is less money you have to pay for your degree. SALT can help you register for scholarships; there is a variety so you can apply for several at a time. Having student debt can cause a lot of stress. SALT’s goal is to make sure you get expert student loan help so you can find the best result for your repayment plan.
SALT teaches students how to become money savvy, enabling students to make good choices. Knowing the value of money and how to save it will limit your spending so that you have more money. SALT gives students explanations for numerous questions you might have. If a student has a specific question, there is a search bar at the top of the SALT website, and when you write your question in, it will take you to an article with tips and other important resources. Students will benefit tremendously from the SALT website, and I highly recommend it to every college student.
