Mohun Musings – Centennial Newsletter
The following article appeared in the Centennial Newsletter on September 2nd, 2025.
The countdown to our 100th anniversary has begun! Before we celebrate however, we would like to bring you one last report from Mother Stephanie Mohun.
In the Fall of 1925, Mother Mohun wrote a letter to the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs with an update on how their new “College in the East” was faring:

This promise of a glorious future for Albertus has certainly prevailed and, as we prepare to celebrate 100 years of education, faith, and tradition at Albertus, we are reminded of its legacy of impact and the bold vision of the Dominican Sisters when they first opened our doors 100 years ago. As our tagline states, “We Have Faith in Your Future”, and the future of Albertus certainly has a new vision and promise now, as it ever did.
Please join us on Founders’ Day, September 24, 2025, as we kick off our 100th year!
