On Friday, October 20th, the 2nd Annual STEM Internship Day took place. The event was held in the Tagliatela Academic Center Atrium at noon. STEM students that completed a summer internship presented their research and experiences from their internships. The students were able to showcase their posters and give presentations. The students that participated were Skylar Arent ’25 (Biology), Roxhensa Dilolli ’24 (Biology), Maria Estrada ’25 (Biology), Timothy Jaglal ’25 (Biology), Elizabeth Lynch ’24 (General Health Sciences), Ashley Medel ’26 (Biology), Hummi Mohammed ’26 (Biology), Vivian Rodriguez ’26 (Biology), Cora Ruiz ’24 (Cybersecurity), and Crisnelly Martinez Tejeda ’24 (Biology).
The event had a great turn out. It was a great learning experience for all the students to learn about Albertus’ student research. In addition, this event gave students the chance to learn about internship opportunities that are available to them. Thank you to all the presenters, advisors,
students, and faculty that attended the event!
We look forward to STEM Internship Day 2024! Hope to see you there!
