Albertus Graduate Student Reflects On Experience in Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Program

Claudette Ahumada ’18, ’23, graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2019 with her B.A. in Psychology. Now she is on her way to earning her M.S. in Clinical Counseling from the college in 2023.

“The Master of Science in Clinical Counseling (MSCC) Program here at Albertus has been everything I hoped it would be. The professors are passionate and take you seriously as future therapists, which helped me take myself more seriously as I grow into this profession.”

During Claudette’s internship, she was able to transfer the knowledge and techniques she learned in the program when working with clients.

“As I enter my third and final year of the program, I am so thankful for this experience and my choice of enrolling in the MSCC program here at Albertus.”
